MISS BARDAHL, winner of Harrah’s Tahoe Championship Regatta, final race of the 1962 unlimited hydroplane season, will compete in all major eastern and western regattas this season. Ron Musson, resident of Seattle, will drive the speedy three-pointer and veteran Crew Chief Leo Vanden Berg, will direct pit operations. Miss Bardahl is powered by a single modified Rolls Royce engine, weights 7000 pounds, is 30’– 4” long, 12’– 5” wide and capable of speeds in excess of 180 M.P.H. Home berth of the metallic green craft is at the international additive oil company’s home office and manufacturing plant in Seattle.
