Merlin rocker arms assembly.

Note dual rocker arms - two intake and two exhaust valves per cylinder. Unlike the Allison which uses roller followers, as can be seen, the Merlin uses scrapers and rocker arms. Valves fit under the "knobs" on the end of the rocker arms.
