By now, all the main frames have been repaired or replaced and the engine stringers have been fixed. The boat is stiff enough to be turned over so work can begin on the bottom.

Flipping the boat was today's project. Several of the Miss Budweiser crew were present, as well as many of Mike Hanson's volunteer crew, along with our Bardahl crew. The boat turned very nicely. We used an A-frame and hoist to pick the front bar, and the forklift on the back.

Mike and Larry had already added the structure needed to support the roll bars. The boat's lateral CG is very good, as it rolled very smoothly and did not try to take-off out of control.

We then got our first look at the bottom...
