The boat is on its side, sitting on the floor! Mike and Larry needed to get out the display boat for Jones Racing which is stored in the same bay as the Bardahl restoration. The display boat was heading back to Detroit for several displays. Because of this, work on the Bardahl was put off until Mike and Larry returned. So, the boat was stored like this to keep it out of the way and out of harm.
