October 2, 2005
On October 2, 2005, nearly 40 years to the day of the last running of the 1962-65 Miss Bardahl, the restored hull was unveiled. The event was not only an unveiling, but a thank-you to all those who put in long, hard work on the restoration.
Taking place at the Seattle Museum of Flight in conjunction with the Boats that Fly exhibit, all attending had a wonderful time.
During the reception, Skip Schott gave a short speech detail "How we got here". The transcript may be found here.
