July 24-26, 2009: Tri-Cities Columbia Cup
The Miss Bardahl participated in the vintage hydroplane exhibition held during the 2009 Tri-Cities Columbia Cup in Pasco, WA. The boat ran during the test sessions and exhibition races on Friday Saturday, and Sunday. The boat ran flawlessly during all runs, reaching speeds of 140-150 MPH at the end of the straights (pulling 80-85" manifold pressure at 3,600-3,800 RPM).
Dixon Smith drove, with Skip Schott, Ryan Smith, Roger Kruse, and Jon Osterberg acting as the primary crew.
