After a full season of racing "real" unlimiteds, work resumed on the "vintage" type.
Work was completed on reinforcing the bottom-to-frame joints, and some work on the airtrap was finished.
The majority of the effort was in mounting the sponson frames. This must be done very accurately and precisely to maintain the handling characteristics of the boat.
The sponsons have been restored to the configuration run in 1963-65.
