With the primary hull painting completed, detailed painting and systems installation has begun.
After painting, the deck was covered with paper to protect it until the paint cures to full strength. This will allow work to continue on the hull without indenting, scratching, or otherwise damaging the paint. This technique is used by the Miss Budweiser team after painting their hulls.
This set of pictures details the completed hull (sans systems). Details such as the cans, names, and smaller logos on the cowl are in the process of being prepared and painted/applied (cans will be a vinyl transfer).
Fuel, oil, water, and ADI systems are being prepared an installed. The windshield has been completed, and will be mounted on the front cowl.
Please note that in most pictures of the painted hull white "blotches" appear on the boat. These are not defects in the paint; rather, these are the reflections from the overhead lights in the paint!
Enjoy.
