Dixon spent most of today finishing up the dash and a little of the plumbing. All the gauges are mounted with switches and lights not far behind.
The Manifold Pressure gauge had to be shimmed out to clear the windshield. Note the red light next to the tachometer. This is an aircraft wing-tip anti-collision light, and is acting as the low-oil-pressure light (per the original boat in 1965).
The kill switch was installed. The switch is covered with an aluminum top machined by Dixon, in which a ring fits. The ring is attached to the driver, and in the event the driver is thrown out, the ring departs the switch cover, throwing the switch thus killing the mags and electrical system.
Two full nitrous bottles are now in Dixon's possession. Each bottle contains more nitrous than the original two bottles originally carried in the boat. The engine will be plumbed for nitrous, and a bottle installed.
