Decking is nearing completion, and cowl work continues. All but one piece of deck has been glued in place, and all fitted.
Work continues on the cowl. The rear and front have been widened (per the widening of the cockpit), and are now being fitted to the deck line. As can be seen in the last photo, the cowl has been covered with several layers of bondo and primer in preparation for laying up a new cowl over the existing one.
Unfortunately, the original cowl is in an unusable condition (see previous update) and will be used as a mold for a new cowl.
Once the deck is completed, the screw holes will be filled in to become flush. Finally, the deck will be glassed and primed - and ready for painting.
