November 26, 2004
This work session was primarily an extension of that accomplished on Nov. 24th. Dixon continued to install the final plumbing hardware, and fit the last of the hoses.
Skip began disassembling the seat. The outer fiberglass shell is in good condition. However, the plywood inner "shelf," hardware (screws) and padding is in very bad shape. The plywood will be replaced along with the hardware. The upholstery is salvagable.
Approximate rudder travel was determined along with pitman arm (cockpit side) movement. Together, these allowed for a measurement of the needed length of tubing for the push-pull rod and pitman arm size (rudder side).
