In preparation for display at Seattle's Museum of Flight, the display motor is installed and the hull is given a final washing.
It is interesting to note that the first place the hull was taken after Dixon purchased it, was to the Miss Budweiser Unlimited Hydroplane shop to remove the display motor. The final stop for the Miss Bardahl after a complete restoration to running condition was the Miss Budweiser shop to have the refurbished motor reinstalled!
